A brand-new original part, made by or for the phone manufacturer. Exactly the same screen the phone left the factory with.
The manufacturer's own replacement part, supplied for authorised repair centres. Usually comes fitted to a new frame, with the manufacturer's part number (for Samsung, GH82-…).
An original display panel recovered from a phone and rebuilt with new front glass, polariser and adhesive, then fully tested.
Our top aftermarket OLED. A flexible OLED that works with diagnostic tools: True Tone can be transferred, and after pairing it is designed to show as Used instead of Unknown Part.
A high-quality aftermarket OLED on a flexible base. Deep blacks, close to original thickness and a slim bottom bezel.
An aftermarket OLED on a rigid glass base. Still a real OLED picture, at a lower price than Soft OLED.

On iPhone 11 and later, iOS lists replaced parts under Settings › General › About › Parts and Service History. Apple says these messages don't affect how the iPhone works.

For factory quality choose Genuine New or Original Service Pack. For the best balance of price and quality on iPhone, choose Diagnosable Soft OLED or Soft OLED. For the lowest price, choose Hard OLED or Incell.
Yes. Fitted correctly, every grade works normally. An Unknown Part message on iPhone is a notice only and doesn't stop the screen working.
Diagnosable parts work with diagnostic programmers. After pairing they are designed to show as Used instead of Unknown Part, and features like True Tone or battery health can be kept.
